Why this one
Discoloration Defense is a layerable, daily-use dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of key types of skin discolouration, including hard-to-treat forms such as stubborn brown patches and post-blemish marks. It brightens skin, evens skin tone and, with continued use, helps minimise the recurrence of discolouration.
The formula combines 1.8% tranexamic acid, 5% niacinamide and 5% HEPES. It is fragrance-free and an ideal at-home complement to professional treatments for discolouration, such as chemical peels or non-ablative laser.

- 1.8% Tranexamic Acid — A synthetically derived ingredient that minimises the recurrence of discolouration and stubborn brown patches with continued use.

How to use
1. Twice daily, apply 3–5 drops to the face. 2. In the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen. Limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Store in a cool, dark place.
