Polynucleotides for Eyes & Face

About this treatment
Polynucleotides are purified fragments of natural DNA, from salmon or trout. They are placed into the skin with micro-injections and support its own repair: better hydration, density and elasticity. They are not a filler, so they add no volume.
They suit the under-eye area especially well. The skin there is the thinnest on the face, and dark circles are often the vessels and tissue underneath showing through. As the skin becomes denser, the circles show less and the eyes look more rested.
At DermLux we use Plinest by Mastelli of Italy: Plinest Eye, formulated for the eye area, and Plinest for the face and neck.

Treatment characteristics

Treatment steps
Medical assessment
The doctor looks at where your circles come from: thin skin, pigmentation or a hollow under the eye. Polynucleotides mainly help the first. If something else suits you better, we will tell you.
Preparation
We remove make-up, apply numbing cream and disinfect the area.
Micro-injections
The polynucleotides are placed at many small points around the whole eye area, with a very fine needle.
Aftercare and your plan
For 24 to 48 hours avoid make-up, hot environments and exercise. For the best result we plan 2 to 4 sessions together, 4 weeks apart.
